Our client is a Multinational Oil and Gas Energy company that provides solutions for energy and industrial customers worldwide. In line with business requirements, they are seeking for a Statutory Specialist to drive a technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver an accurate and compliant statutory financial statement.
Having specific job-related knowledge related to statutory reporting, financial reporting, financial analysis, analytical review, audit and management reporting.

What You Will Do

Managing the execution of compliant and efficient statutory financial audits.

Evaluating, maintaining, and improving the efficiency of financial and statutory accounting processes.

Reviewing statutory financial statements and audit pack for accuracy and compliance with local statutory accounting standards and regulations.

Executing on audit requests by working closely with functional team, operations, tax, legal, company secretary and finance.

​
Investigating any audit issue to allow resolution with supporting documentation.

Monitoring analytical support, and variance analysis for S2G Walk.

Extracting insight from data and explain, giving root cause analysis and recommendation to relevant stakeholders.
What You Need:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, ACCA, CA, CPA qualified with at least 5 to 8 years of experience as a people lead in Finance).

5 to 8 years of experience in Accounting Operations and audit.

​
Have a relevant working experience in statutory. Big 4 accounting experience is an added advantage.

Possess good knowledge and understanding of Statutory and IFRS/US GAAP Accounting.

​
Have good analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as problem-solving skills.

​
Have knowledge or experience in SAP, Hyperion Oracle and performing quick analysis on SAP cross functional analysis.
