Our client is a Multinational Oil and Gas Energy company that provides solutions for energy and industrial customers worldwide. In line with business requirements, they are seeking for a Statutory Specialist to drive a technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver an accurate and compliant statutory financial statement.
Having specific job-related knowledge related to statutory reporting, financial reporting, financial analysis, analytical review, audit and management reporting.

What You Will Do

Responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration for all cycles including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, intercompany, etc.

Preparing the audit pack as well as audit schedules prior to submission to External Auditors.

Preparing the Financial Statements prior to submission to External Auditors.

Working closely with business: Regional Stat Leaders, Legal, Tax, FP&A and other Functional Teams etc to ensure the audits are completed as per stipulated timeline.

Works closely with External and Internal Auditors to assist in completion of all audits

Service unit providing services to the function or directly to the business.

Being the focal for assigned statutory audits between the BKR stakeholders and External Auditors.
What You Need:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, ACCA, CA, CPA qualified with at least 2 - 3 years of experience in audit.

Have a relevant working experience in statutory. Big 4 accounting experience is an added advantage.

Possess good knowledge and understanding of Statutory and IFRS/US GAAP Accounting.

Have good analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as problem-solving skills.

Have knowledge or experience in SAP, Hyperion Oracle and performing quick analysis on SAP cross functional analysis.

Able to use Data Visualization Tools – Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for presenting financial data (added advantage).
