Our Client is an IT solutions & services provider specializing in Connectivity & Communications solutions (network, security, VOIP, IPPBX, SIP services) and Management Tools (IT service management and customer engagement solutions). In line with their rapid business expansion plans, they are looking for a ready or aspiring Solution Architect. This is an exciting role where you will work closely with business partners, customers & IT team and be responsible for designing and building data communication networks. The networks can range from smaller local area networks (LANs) to larger wide area networks (WANs/SD-WANs), along with intranets. You will also have experience managing network infrastructure to ensure they operate effectively, including the installation of routers, cables, modems and other necessary hardware and software.
Knowledgeable in planning, designing and implementing data communication networks that meet SLAs and performance requirements. Client is looking for ready or individuals with potential & interest to grow into the role.

What You Will Do

Planning and designing data communication networks, and implementing strategic network and security designs while following industry best practices.

Managing information and network security.

Keeping documentation of networks, including drawings, descriptions and configurations.

Implementing upgrades to hardware and software as needed.

Overseeing the network implementation process & projects, including technical aspects, setting schedules, resources and budgets.

Performing maintenance and repairs to network equipment where relevant.

Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to determine their networking needs and requirements.
What You Need:

Diploma/Degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering, preferably Network, Telecommunication.

At least an experienced L2 Network Engineer or equivalent with in-depth knowledge of routing & switching (R&S) and Wireless.

Knowledge of hardware systems related to Voice/Telephony technologies including servers, memory modules, processors, and peripherals.

Detailed knowledge of networking systems and software.

Certifications would be an added advantage: CCNA, CCNP, CCAr, CompTIA Network+, ITIL

Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to ensure information is conveyed effectively and accurately, and to present plans and provide networking guidance to management staff.
