They are looking for a Consultant to take on the topic of Data Governance where you will work with a global team and stakeholders across IT architects, managers & business leads based in India, central London, and Singapore.

What You Will Do

You will be working under the Client's Asia Gas and power trading business.

You will work as a Consultant/Business Analyst in a team focused on delivery of data analytics and data platform for the business.

Your deliverables are Target Operating Model (TOM) for the product (data platform) and data governance framework which includes detailed processes that are ready for implementation.

You will conduct business analysis work on the project in both discretionary and operational items. This would include topics such as Business Analysis, Business Requirements Definition, Business Solution Design, Functional Specification & Acceptance Criteria, and Acceptance Test Plan and Management.

You will liaise with a diverse set of business and IT stakeholders sitting in India, central London & Singapore.

You will support the development of standards to identify critical data issues in terms of business impact, risk or opportunity and ensure data policy enforcement and compliance within the business.

You will work both independently and in a team and manage conflicting priorities and deadlines well, in both physical and virtual environments.
What You Need:

Your background will be as a Business Analyst or Consultant with at least 7 years' experience in data governance topics.

You have expertise in Target Operating Model (TOM) i.e. ability to define the business "to be" model.

You come from oil & gas, power or trading industry with an understanding of its ins and outs.

You will have experience and previous involvements in data analytics and/or data platform topics and projects.

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written using different mediums and skilled in being able to build credible, sustainable relationships with staff, business leaders and suppliers.

As this is a remote position, you must be able to manage a virtual team.
