Our Client is an IT Shared Services supporting an international logistic company. We are looking for an experienced Architect (Snowflake Data Platform).
You will investigate, analyze and record all or part of a business in a systematic approach. You will also define architecture requirements and create viable specifications of the processes and systems.
You will manage architecture-related communication inside IT Services and outside the Company.
You will design and develop integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs. You need to take account of relevant architectures, strategies and policies.
Knowledgeable in architecting design in terms of new application data flow, and Snowflake project hands on implementation. This role is opened to both Expatriates & Malaysian citizenship holders.

What You Will Do

Work with people responsible for architectural communication in all regions of IT Services and in Company Business divisions.

Communicate all important news to the architectural community effectively.

Lead definition, initiation and design of architecture in projects/ programs and coordinate collaboration with external service providers.

Apply standard methodologies when creating new architecture, programs and applications or when maintaining existing ones.

Document work using the required standards, methods and tools.

Act as Technical lead of development teams on issues of performance, tools, and standards.

You may oversee the completion of projects and may contribute to (junior) team members professional development.
What You Need:
-
At least 8 years of experience in software engineering with relevant qualifications in IT field and methods including formal methods (e.g. Prince 2).

Knowledgeable in architecting design in terms of new application data flow, and Snowflake project hands on implementation.

Experience / knowledge in ETL (Datastage / matilion) and visualization tool like Power BI / Tableau.

Well versed in:
i) Flow chart, i.e. able to articulate solution and design in written form and verbal communications to team and stake holders.
ii) Data modelling
iii) Implementation of data warehouse/business intelligence projects
iv) Exposure in solutioning of web application with large data concept.
v) System integration with multiple system.

Experience in Big data and business intelligence implementation.

Agile, scrum Master experience a plus.
