Senior System Support Specialist (Identity & Access Management)

Our Client is an IT Shared Services supporting an international logistic company. Be part of a truly global team with over 1400 highly skilled IT professionals working in a friendly, multicultural environment of 26 nationalities in Cyberjaya. This role will work within Build and Run Operations – Identity & Access Management team and will be primarily managing the daily operations of the Main Directory Services and Cloud Identity service. The services within Main Directory Services include Microsoft Active Directory, MS AD LDS, Active Directory Federation Service FID Federation, Microsoft Identity Management (MIM), Azure AD.
You will be supporting the directory service globally and are responsible for ensuring the directory services infrastructure meets the business agreed SLA and on-time to provide quality service support globally. Depending on experience, you will coach junior team members, first level support team (service desk) and Directory operation team.

What You Will Do

You will be providing 2nd and 3rd level of support (L2/L3) to global.

Provide Operations Acceptance activities to ensure accurate and timely release to production of new and/or enhanced services.

Maintain forward vision of server and/or software architecture and provision to ensure timely replacement of servers with due regard to financial and technology implications. Ensure implementation of new services and changes to existing services in the Production/Development environments are in line with customer project plans and requests.

Delivery of pre-sales advice and consultation on technical architecture and production standards. Ensure that the applications and their support is undertaken based on the IT Operational standards, executed in line with the ITS Process and delivered within the requested timescales.

Supporting business critical applications running within the area of responsibility of Production Services in ITS globally. Documenting best practices and adhering to formal standards and processes as currently laid down.

Assessing, developing, and implementing the infrastructure and server builds.

Assist with execution of Release to Production activities, acting as Internal Quality Gate. Manage internal projects focused on hardware infrastructure improvement with related activities such as project planning, resource planning and reporting.

What You Need:

Bachelor of Computer Science graduate or IT related discipline.

The position requires a subject matter expert (SME) with more than 5 years experiences including Level 3 hands on experience performing Directory Server administration in enterprise environments using one or more of the following: Microsoft Active Directory, Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS), Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), Active Directory Federation services (ADFS), Azure Active Directory (AAD).

At least 5 years working in multinational - IT industry specializing in Microsoft Active Directory.

The role requires in depth knowledge of Microsoft Active whereby having understanding and experience in wide infrastructure including its communicating with other Microsoft technologies (example Sharepoint, Exchange), maintain AD infrastructure and troubleshoot AD including troubleshoot tracing on both server and client.

You are also ideally required to have basic experience or understanding of the setup/support of Active Directory Federated Service and Azure AD as well as single sign-on access to cloud applications.

Plus point(s) if you have Active Directory Scripting technologies (2 years programming skills - Visual Studio ( and C#), Perl, Powershell scripts, etc)
