Our client is a big conglomerate with five primary sectors of the Malaysian economy, namely plantation, property & industrial, pharmaceutical, heavy industries, and trading, finance & investment. In line with business plans, their Leasing - Properties Management & Investment department is hiring Head of Leasing to develop and implement leasing strategies that maximize occupancy, rental income, and tenant mix within the shopping mall.
Experience in retail leasing, real estate management, or similar role, preferably within a shopping mall or commercial property environment.

What You Will Do

Monitoring and keep abreast on market trends in the rental segment to enhance overall mall
performance.

Identifying new leasable areas including shops, kiosk and office space to achieve optimum
rental revenue.

Monitoring tenant’s sales performance and identifying the most performing and low
performance tenant to assist when necessary.

Implement leasing plans for the mall under the supervision of the Head Of Department to
ensure all available space is leased in a timely and effective manner.

Managing tenants’ complaints for first floor and office tenants and coordinate with relevant
department to ensure smooth operations.

Preparing and analyzing tenant’s performance, prepare and execute renewal approval form in
complied with the set of procedure.

Updating the occupancy reports for first floor and office lots on quarterly basis.
What You Need:

Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master Degree in Property Management or any related field.

Minimum 3-5 years working experience in Mall Leasing.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of achieving leasing targets and financial goals.

Knowledge of retails trends, market dynamics, and consumer behavior.

Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
