Risk & Integrity Manager

Our client was incorporated in 1960 and is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities. They produce up to 120,000 barrels per day and are the second largest refinery in Malaysia. Operating in Port Dickson, they boast a growing team of 500 employees. In line with business requirements, they are seeking for HR Executive (IR & ER) as part of continuous improvement drives. You will take on the critical and exciting role of driving HR excellence in the company.

Knowledgeable in Risk Management Standard (framework, methodology), Risk Management software with managerial and leadership experience.

What You Will Do

Review, recommend and enhance (where appropriate) the company Risk Management’s roadmap, policy, framework, methodology and system.

Assist risk management programs by assisting with remediation strategies and implementation of improvements.

Investigate and research emerging risks and trends in the industry advising senior management where appropriate.

Undertake periodic Risk Management Audits to validate status of risk mitigating strategies and ratings provided in the Risk Management Framework Assessments and report results to Senior Management.

Assist with coordination of Business Continuity Planning (BCP). Liaise with Senior Management as to on-going effectiveness of BCP.

On an on-going basis advise and report to Senior Management risk related issues that arise throughout the organization. Review frequently the internal processes, contracts and identify risk related issues and provide investigation report and recommendations for improvement.

Participate in and/or coordinate/facilitate process Improvement/ Project/ CAPEX/Investment proposal risk assessments in conjunction with relevant project team and/or coordinator.

What You Need:

Degree in Business Administration (DBA)/ Degree in Risk Management/ Bachelor in Finance or other related disciplines).

At least 7-10 years working experience, with 3 years in managerial position.

Experienced in Risk Management Standard (framework, methodology), Risk Management software.

Strong communication skill, Team leadership, Business acumen, Result oriented, People development, Helicopter view.

Ability to collaborate with others to develop an emergency plan. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills. Excellent critical thinking skills.

Candidate must have positive attitude, matured thinking, initiative, able to multi-task and meet deadlines, proactive, integrity, resourceful and hardworking.
