Our Client is an IT solutions & services provider specializing in Infrastructure (network, security and IP Telephony) and Management Tools (IT service management and customer engagement solutions). In line with their business expansion plans, they are looking for a Voice Engineer. You will work closely with business partners, customers & IT team to support their global Clientele.

3 - 5 years of hands-on Voice Engineering experience, great attitude & communication skills, ideally experienced in L2 support.

What You Will Do

You will be involved in hardware configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting for voice related infrastructure e.g. such as voice gateways.

You will be knowledgeable in areas of voice systems & infrastructure technologies.

Provide support for switches, voice gateways, and firewall infrastructure.

Support external stakeholders & users and troubleshoot all their VoIP issues within Client organization/company. To ensure this, you will need to detect and address issues with trunks, profiles, endpoints, and dial plans.

You are responsible for managing and maintaining VoIP networks by being a part of large telecommunications and network team, and also for day-to-day operations and to handle unified voice, data, and video services within organizations, and WANs/LANs/MANs.

You will document modifications to the infrastructure and partner with other technical team members for safely and properly installing wiring, cabling, and other electrical equipment.

Take part in regular training programs to upgrade skills in existing and future technologies.

What You Need:

2 - 5 years of hands-on Voice Network Engineering experience and/or a Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or related industry or equivalent training and experience.

Clear understanding of installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting of Voice Engineering technologies & infrastructure.

Ideally experienced in L2 voice engineer level support.

Customer-centric and an excellent attitude.

Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Experience with testing and resolving issues in VoIP systems (such as Cisco or Genesys Telephony Platforms), reasonable programming skills in any language and extensive knowledge in computer networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, IPv6, DHCP, DNS, etc.
