About the Client:

Our Client is a multinational reinsurance company. The PMO – Finance shall be part of the Client’s MFRS17 & GL projects & initiatives. This position shall report directly to the Head of Finance & Administration. Some of the main duties and functions of this role include coordinating the day-to-day aspects of the projects and ensure their successful completion and outcomes.

What This Role Involves:

Manage and control the day-to-day aspects of the project according to the project plan and timeline.

Lead, coordinate and manage the project team to ensure the execution of the project on schedule and within the scope and approved budget.

Monitor and analyze the team performance and take corrective measures efficiently, and to efficiently handle the project management issues and risks to ensure the project is on-track.

Monitor and manage under the RAID log (risk, action, issue and decision logs), including the tracking of closure issues, action items, change requests, budget, etc.

Manage internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and consultants to ensure the quality and success of the project, collaborate with the external consultants for project management guidance, collaborate with IT team in managing and reviewing the testing strategy and plan.

Manage and review the deployment plan, and to assist in go-live readiness assessment, review and monitor the training strategy and plan.

You will prepare the quarterly report to the Board of Directors and Bank Negara Malaysia, and ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, regulations and laws.

What You Need:

Degree holder in Accounting & Finance, or equivalent.

At least 3 years of project management experience including monitoring and managing project timelines, budget, risk, and schedules.

Excellent communication skills with good stakeholder & vendor management abilities.

Good prioritization skills to balance key priorities and deliverables

Ability to speak business, finance and basic IT language.

Knowledge in MFRS 17 and added advantage.
