They are seeking a Payroll Assistant to join their HR & Payroll team. Together, you will be managing 500 - 700 employee headcounts and profiles and be tasked with successfully completing monthly salary runs.

2 - 3 years of end-to-end high number of Payroll experience. You will manage an employee headcount of 500 - 700. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.

What You Will Do

Gathering and examining electronic timesheets to ensure their validity.

Capturing approved paid and unpaid leaves such as annual and sick leave.

Ensuring that compensation for overtime work is calculated at the appropriate rate and that annual leave is calculated accordingly, if applicable.

Confirming that legally-mandated and optional deductions have been processed correctly.

Working to resolve discrepancies in payments as a matter of urgency.

Performing all payroll tasks in a well and timely manner before the pay run to ensure that employees are compensated and notified on time.

Addressing queries about payroll-related issues.

What You Need:

At least a diploma holder in Business Administration, Human Resource or equivalent.

Detail-oriented and knowledgeable on the latest payroll and statutory requirements.

Has a good grasp of knowledge of end-to-end payroll cycle and processing and knowledgeable in using payroll system (e.g. HR2000) and computing tools including Words, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferably with experience working in large, diverse teams.

Added advantage(s): Able to communicate in Mandarin, experience with SAP environment.

Immediate joiners will be prioritized.
