Knowledgeable in at least 3 of the following technologies: OSPF: Open Shortest Path First (network config), BGP: Border Gateway Protocol (routing protocol), MPLS: Multiprotocol Label Switching (network speed/control protocol), QoS: Quality of Service (methodology of network quality). Background in IP Core Network, Enterprise Network, IP/MPLS backbone network experience.

What You Will Do
-
As Network Specialist (IP Transition Manager), you play an integral role in end-to-end Telco and ICT transition and operational support. You provide valuable transition and operations management and help to on-board customers from Telco networks.

You will create low level design document for Transition Plan and act as Technical Focal during Transition phases.

Provide technical escalation support during transition activities and provide client-focused operations support within Company by working closely with various internal support teams.

Documents client’s ICT environment and operations for better support and understanding.

Provide Service Request (SR) assessment, advice and support, and periodic reports to client with the status of SRs.

Ensure the RFO / Incident report is produced within the required timeline, and provide inputs to Problem Management team.

For major incidents, work with Major Incident Management Team to lead and coordinate with the respective resolver groups including 3rd party vendors until incident resolution; and
escalate to resolver group’s management where necessary.
What You Need:

Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering
(Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

At least 3 of the following skill(s): OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, MPLS, TE, QoS, IP VPN.

At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

At least already an experienced Tier-2 or Tier-3 Network Engineer.

Background in IP Core Network, Enterprise Network, IP/MPLS backbone network experience will be advantageous.

CCNP or CCIE certification will be an added advantage for this position.
