OUR CLIENT is a highly rated polished all-suite hotel with features such as an outdoor infinity pool, a trendy cafe & rooftop rainforest garden. In line with their desire for continuous service & operational improvements, they are looking for an experienced HR Manager with strong leadership abilities to engage with relevant subordinates to join their team. You will work closely with Management to coordinate all administrative activities related to an organization’s personnel such as developing HR policies & strategies, implementing systems for managing staff benefits, payroll and behaviour and onboarding new employees. This role report directly to Managing Director’s office.

Compulsory experience

At least 7 years’ hands-on end-to-end experience in the topics of human resources, labour relations, organizational development, and HR policies.

What You Will Do

Ensure all company HR policies are up-to-date and applied consistently.

Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.

Maintain company HR systems, compliance, and processes.

Provide support and guidance to HR department and employees, and conduct performance and salary reviews.

Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding, and ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.

Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date

Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution, and ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

What You Need:

At least 7 years’ hands-on experience in the topics of human resources, labour relations, organizational development, and HR policies.

Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English & Bahasa Malaysia.

Hands-on experience with using human resources information system/management system (HRIS/HRMS) and payroll system.

Knowledgeable in end-to-end payroll cycle and management.

Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations.

Up to date with latest announcements on HR related policies.
