Customer Service Engineer (SMT)

Our client is a global Surface Mount Technology (SMT) provider.

Our client is a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) provider with over 22 years’ experience with multiple established long-term cooperative relationship with most of the global electronics manufacturers. In line with their expansion plans, they are expanding into Malaysia market and are looking for 2 full-time Customer Service Engineer (SMT) to represent them in conducting full engineering service spectrum including but not limited to machine and line equipment installations, warranty support & maintenance to their customers based in Malaysia.

At least 1 – 2 years of electrical/electronics industry experience. Exemplary fresh graduates are welcome to apply!

What You Will Do

As Customer Service Engineer, you will be the Company’s technical & professional engineering representative.

You will concentrate on interacting with local Malaysian customers and improve business relations.

Some of the activities you will conduct include product promotions through the professional service activity such as machine installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and acceptance.

You will continuously increase and strengthen your industry knowledge and practical understanding of the operation and function of all related Company SMT equipment via technology research and development.

You will prepare weekly/monthly service reports to enable Company to stay updated on local service engineering activities.

Product training and knowledge transfer will be provided to all successful candidates.

You will work closely and report to Engineering Manager based in Taiwan HQ.

What You Need:

Diploma or technical certification in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

At least 1 – 2 years of industry experience. Exemplary fresh graduates are welcome to apply!

Good communicator with proficiency in written and spoken English, and spoken proficiency in Mandarin (due to business requirements).

Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, lnternet Explorer, Windows XP.

Willing to travel to client locations based throughout Malaysia and internationally when required.

Prior experience in SMT equipment is preferred.
