About the Client:

Our Client is a multinational Oil & Gas trading company based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia involved in global trading & supply of oil products. In line with business growth, they are looking for a dynamic & creative Assistant Marketing Manager to join them in development and implementation of effective trade plan plus brand-building strategies to drive Singapore Trade Volume, increase brand awareness, preference, usage and loyalty amongst target audience, and to drive aggressive trade plans to engage with trade partners (Direct and Indirect).

What This Role Involves:

As Assistant Marketing Manager, you shall help develop and implement effective trade plan plus brand-building strategies to drive Singapore Trade Volume.

You will be tasked to understand consumer & trade landscape, and lead activations with key brand campaigns and promotions for well-rounded integration- to deliver business growth.

Support E2E i.e. integrated marketing campaign, consumer activation, media launch, agency and supplier management, integration with indirect channel & retail, premium ordering and delivery and ensure smooth execution in trade,

Implementation of the trade marketing plan and promotional programs designed to increase in-store brand presence and ultimately sales off-take at trade level. Perform the relevant checks and corrective actions in case of deviations and on the basis of market evolution.

Maintain up- to-date brand maps, pricing strategies, market-relevant list prices and floor prices. Also, track competitive review along with distributors and agencies.

SP&A management, PR/PO/Invoicing, signing of MBA, premiums management.

Support in working together with trade and sales on BTL / Trade activations, and lead development and implementation of sub-projects / short term execution plans.

What You Need:

BSc/BA in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field; Master’s/MBA is a plus.

You MUST have prior FMCG experience due to the nature of this role.

Strong knowledge of BTL / Trade campaigns execution plus minimum exposure of ATL experience.

Working experience / exposure to Singapore market is a plus.

Excellent organizational skills, experience meeting tight deadlines.

Ability to build effective relationship, Good team player with internal team and also external partners.
