About the Client:

Our Client is a multinational reinsurance company. They are looking for an Assistant Manager, Treaty & Pricing to support and provide leadership in the Company’s actuarial Treaty & Pricing team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of relevant working experience in life insurance or reinsurance industry with strong analytical skills, critical thinking and affinity for numbers and details.

What This Role Involves:

You shall support and provide leadership in the Company’s actuarial Treaty & Pricing team.

Complete and prioritize actuarial analyses appropriate for the functional area.

Create and deliver actuarial presentations to internal & external clients and all levels of management as requested.

You shall be responsible in the segments of overall pricing process, quotations, drafting treaties and addendums, preparation of actuarial related reports and preparation of retro arrangements.

Maintain monthly monitoring reports and ensure accuracy of the reports through reconciliation process.

Create and deliver actuarial presentations to internal & external clients and all levels of management as requested.

Special challenges include assisting in product development and taking on ad-hoc projects related to Treaty & Pricing as required by the management.

What You Need:

Minimum Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science with CGPA of at least 3.0 and above.

Preferably attainted an Associateship in internationally recognized Actuarial body (SOA, IFOA, IOA, etc.)

A team player, self-motivated, good interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience in Ms Office tools & Actuarial modelling software (Prophet, AXIS, SAS, etc.).

At least 3 years of relevant working experience in life insurance or reinsurance industry with strong analytical skills, critical thinking and affinity for numbers and details.

Good knowledge in VBA/SQL programming or other modelling skills are an added advantage.
