What this role involves:

As Assistant Manager, Finance, you shall be responsible to review/perform the receipting and payment functions of the Company promptly and accurately in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, including record keeping and uploading data into the accounting system and related schedules for all accounts receivable, payable, expenses and other financial transactions whilst ensuring that all accounting controls are adhered to during the process. You shall review/prepare the day to day cash flow of the Company and ensure idle funds are invested to maximize investment returns for the Company whilst ensuring adequate funds to fulfil daily payment requirements.

You shall monitor investments and promptly act on any market news for investment decisions in order to maximize investment returns, liaise with asset management companies, prepare placements and withdrawal documents and assist in gathering information for papers to the Investment Committee, and prepare and/or assist in the preparation of monthly financial management and investment reports on a timely basis in accordance with the reporting/submission checklist of the Finance Department. You shall also be responsible to review/perform reconciliations, regulatory/statutory and/or compliance reports and required submissions on a timely basis in accordance with the reporting/submission checklist of the Finance Department, and assist in the preparation of tax schedules/information for tax computation making sure to adhere to all policies, procedures, regulations and laws.

What you need:

Minimum Bachelor degree or equivalent to Accounting / Finance

Meticulous, committed and able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Analytical skills, critical thinking and an affinity for numbers and details is essential.

At least 6 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision, good analytical skill along with integrity and a commitment to excellence.

Computer literate and proficient in Ms Excel / Spreadsheet.
